P22 small noncoding RNAs are actively secreted in Salmonella outer membrane vesicles during bacteriophage infection

In this study, we infected Salmonella with P22 bacteriophage and performed sequencing of RNA isolated from both whole cell lysates and outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). The samples were OMV Plus (RNA isolated from Salmonella OMV infected with P22), OMV Minus (RNA isolated from uninfected Salmonella), C Plus (RNA isolated from Salmonella whole cell lysate infected with P22) and C minus (RNA isolated from uninfected Salmonella whole cell lysate).
