This dataset reports data from three experiments to study carbon dioxide-in-water foams stabilized by bare colloidal silica and surfactant. We used zwitterionic carboxy surfactant caprylamidopropyl betaine (CAPB) that becomes cationic in the presence of carbon dioxide. pH measurements reported in this dataset were generated when CAPB was titrated with hydrogen chloride to find the isoelectric point in deionized water. Results reporting the zeta potential of silica nanoparticles measured at 3 pH values as a function of CAPB concentration are included in this dataset. Viscosity data are provided as function of silica nanoparticle concentration in both a beadpack and in capillary tube viscometer. Publication: Worthen et al. 2013. AIChE Journal, 59(9), 3490-3501.
