Impact Hammer Testing Acoustic Dataset for Concrete Assessment (IHT), 2026, is an acoustic dataset developed for structural health monitoring and automated concrete defect detection using impact-hammer sounds. It contains 206 WAV recordings from two classes, Normal (Healthy) and Abnormal (Faulty), collected under realistic field conditions. The recordings were acquired using a digital recorder at a 96 kHz sampling rate, with an average duration of 10 seconds per sample. The recordings were processed using Audacity and are intended for acoustic signal processing and machine learning studies.
