Transcriptome profiling of Arabidopsis hts1 mutant under 37°C heat stress. Arabidopsis thaliana

We identified a novel thermosensitive Arabidopsis mutant named high temperature sensitive 1 (hts1). In order to comprehensively study changes in gene transcription of hts1 mutant plants under heat stress conditions, RNA-seq analysis was performed. Two-week-old seedlings of hts1 and wild-type Col-0 plants grown on MS agar plates were exposed to 37 degrees C heat stress and sampled at 0, 1, 3, and 9 h after the treatment. Total RNA was extracted from whole seedlings and subjected to cDNA library construction.
