Viennese Health- and Social Survey 2001

To record the medical condition of the Viennese public thoroughly for the first time, the city of Vienna has commissioned the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) to plan and conduct the Wiener Gesundheits- und Sozialsurveys 2000/2001 (Viennese health- and social surveys 2000/2001). In two survey waves during the winter months of the years 1999/2000 and 2000/2001 4,000 Viennese were orally interviewed on their medical condition. The questions were on the topics of subjective health, chronic and acute illnesses, use of medication and utilisation of medical facilities. At the same time the interviewers posed questions on health-related topics such as lifestyle, socio-economic situation, working environment, stress, living arrangements, social networks, subjective coping strategies and important personal experiences.

为首次全面记录维也纳市民的健康状况，维也纳市委托高等研究院（Institute for Advanced Studies，IHS）规划并开展2000/2001年维也纳健康与社会调查（德语原名：Wiener Gesundheits- und Sozialsurveys 2000/2001，英文译名为Viennese health- and social surveys 2000/2001）。该调查于1999/2000年与2000/2001年冬季分两波开展，共对4000名维也纳市民进行了健康状况口头访谈。访谈内容涵盖主观健康自评、急慢性疾病、用药情况及医疗服务利用情况等主题。同时，访谈还涉及生活方式、社会经济状况、工作环境、压力水平、居住安排、社会网络、主观应对策略及重要个人经历等健康相关话题。
