Evidence shows that PDAC arises from PanINs: pretumoral lesions originated from transdifferentiation of pancreatic acinar cells. The aim is to increase our understanding of PDAC onset by studying the differences from acinar cells to PanINs.We used the pancreatic acinar model "266-6" cells and "EK" PanIN cells extracted from the pancreas of K-Ras+/LSLG12Vgeo;Elas-tTA/tetO-Cre mice. The samples were analyzed in triplicate.
