The PERUSANO study: Participatory design prototyping workshops dataset

​​The dataset contains pictures and data from the low fidelity prototypes (one App and one game) created by healthcare professionals and caregivers from Huánuco and Manchay.
The prototyping workshops were part of a series of participatory co-design workshops conducted from June to October 2022. In addition to the sketches, there are notes and discussion boards of the advantages and disadvantages and how to improve the prototypes. Workshop participants included caregivers of infants aged 6-23 months and healthcare professionals from the local health centres with members of the research team as facilitators.
Notes and text in the dataset are in Spanish language with some terms in English language.
Co-design outputs were created as part of a wider interdisciplinary project (PERUSANO study) which aimed to address multiple forms of malnutrition, particularly stunting, anaemia, and risk of overweight/obesity in Peruvian infants and young children aged 6-23 months old. The study took place in two peri-urban areas in Peru: Manchay in Lima and Huánuco district in the Andean highlands.
