SMILE Synthetic Orbit Datasets with Predictions of the Probability for Soft Proton Flux to Exceed Significant Thresholds (2025–2028)
收藏资源简介:
Two comma-separated datasets providing augmented SMILE orbital ephemerides, solar-cycle-23-analog space-weather parameters, magnetic-footpoint topology (T96/IRBEM), and machine-learning–derived soft-proton risk predictions (92.2–159.7 keV) for SMILE’s first three years of operations (2025-10-01 to 2028-09-30). We supply two scenarios: (1) near-median solar-wind conditions and (2) a disturbed subset where the solar-wind Vx falls below the 5th percentile. Each dataset includes per-orbit probability estimates (XGBoost + Logistic Regression ensemble mean) for exceedances of 10 and 100 cm⁻² s⁻¹ sr⁻¹ keV⁻¹, together with corresponding binary high-risk flags. Spatial points with radial distance r < 6 R_E are excluded. All coordinates are given in GSE; timestamps are ISO-8601 UTC. Columns, units, derivation procedures, and usage instructions are fully documented in the accompanying metadata file. Timestamps and positions originate from the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites (IAMC), Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, provided in a J2000 Position–Velocity file (7 columns; time, X, Y, Z, Vx, Vy, Vz; original filename: SMILE_GSEAxesPosVel.txt). In this deposit, we retain timestamps and positions only (x_GSE, y_GSE, z_GSE; km) and omit velocities.
