Harpa Data — Glacier Thickness 2008

The glacial thickness paper is obtained by applying the GlabTop — Glacier Bed Topography (Paul and Linsbauer, 2012) model based on the assumption that the thickness of the glacier depends on surface morphology. Using only three input datasets (i.e. glacial perimeters, digital surface model and central flow lines) the model calculates the ice thickness values for some points and realises the spatial interpolation of the bedrock within the glacier limits using the ANUDEM algorithm (Hutchinson, 1989).
