We extend the boundaries of linkage mapping by genotyping a dense marker set on a large number of yeast segregants generated from a cross between two diverse yeast strains sk1 and s96. From our whole genome sequencing of 720 segregants, we were able to identify gene variants that determine various complex traits. We also found genetic interactions between causative genes that give rise to different phenotypes. The sequences provided in this submission include only reads that are both properly paired and uniquely aligned to S288c genome R63.
