Total value of household savings in the Netherlands 2007-2023, by type of deposit

Household savings deposits in the Netherlands increased steadily from January 2007 to March 2024. Most of those savings were located in deposits redeemable at notice, which had an outstanding value of nearly 382 billion euros, while fixed-term deposits were valued at 86 billion euros.
