Bursaphelenchus xylophilus strain:AMA3 Genome sequencing and assembly

Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, also known as pinewood nematode, colonizesmillions of pine trees worldwide every year and causes severe pine wilt and death. Current short read based draft genome has various limitations that hamper further study. We sequence B. xylophilus genome using SMRT long reads at 102x coverage and generate de novo assembly of ~78M.
