Proteomes of Gpssypium hirsutum wildtype ZM24 and it's leaf yeallow mutant yl1

Here, we identified a spontaneous mutant yl1 with chlorophyll-reduced leaves from G. hirsutum L. cv ZM24. Compare to wild type ZM24 with green leaves, yl1 exhibited patchy yellow leaves and reduced chlorophyll content. To further explore the mechanisms of the patchy yellow phenotype of mutant plant, the proteomics profiles were conducted from the mutant and wild type. A total of 1368 differentially accumu-lated proteins (DAPs) were identified.
