资源简介:
The study was conducted through mixed methodology with a sample size comprised of limited students and secondary means to understand the mental wellbeing of students before and during the lockdown. Depression analysis through BDI-II was one of the key findings, caused by a number of conditions, including the coping mechanisms. The prevalence of depression during lockdown, according to the research, was 21.7% suffering from normal ups and downs followed by 16.98% suffering from clinical depression and 11.32% suffering from extreme depression. Frequency and cross-tabulations showed the perceptions that affected and disrupted the life events and mental wellbeing of the younger generation of the country; its determining factors; and how these issues are dealt by the universities and government within the current pandemic issue and having to cope up with their studies at the same time.
