The analysis of wastewater to unveil the diversity of virus excreted by human populations has become a useful tool to complement the epidemiological record obtained from medical diagnosis in a community. The extent of circulation of Human Enteroviruses (HEVs) in different countries from South America is largely unknown. This research project aims to contribute to the description of the genetic diversity of Enteroviruses that circulate in different cities of the South American region.
