Lapsi katselee nöyrän surumielisenä alas jalkoihinsa. Taiteilijan perheessä teos tunnettiin lempinimellä Mahapoika, mikä viittasi hahmon pyöreään lapsenvatsaan. Granite Boy II is a beautifully smoothed sculpture of a boy with a towel wrapped around his waist. The child looks down at his feet with humble melancholy. This sculpture was known by the nickname Stomach Boy within Aaltonen's family. The theme of the sculpture was a part of an unrealized fountain design. There are various versions of this sculpture.
