Career and Job Engagement of National Service Persons

This data was obtained from national service persons (NSPs) in Ghana to examine the influence of organizational and personal resources on their career and job engagement. Using PLS-SEM procedures, it was established that job support (organizational resource) influences career planning, career engagement and career orientation. Career planning and career orientation (personal resources) influenced career engagement and job engagement. additionally, career engagement influenced job engagement and played a mediating role. An IPMA showed career engagement and job support as the two most important factors in the job engagement of NSPs, but the best performing factor was career orientation.
