Commercial vehicle production in the Netherlands by type 2010-2019

Commercial vehicle production in the Netherlands primarily consists of trucks with a comparatively much lower production of buses and no recorded production of vans. Trucks made up 97.2 percent of the production in 2021. Production reached its peak in 2018 with over 87,000 total units produced before dropping to some 82,000 vehicles in 2019, and even further to around 53,000 in 2020. 60,906 total commercial vehicles were produced in the Netherlands in 2021, and, though this is still down nearly 31 percent from the peak in 2018, it is a 12.6 percent increase from 2020.
