A price survey of 100g of liver across all supermarkets in the country revealed that the average price in December 2016 was 147 yen. Over the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (the past 24 months), the month with the highest liver price among supermarkets nationwide was December 2016 at 147 yen, while the month with the lowest price was January 2015 at 138 yen. The price difference between the peak price period (December 2016) and the lowest price period (January 2015) for liver nationwide is 8.766 yen.
