Polymerase theta (PolQ) is required for Theta Mediated End Joining repair. TMEJ is part of the non-homologous repair pathway family (NHEJ) This study mapped the synthetic lethal interactions of about 300 genes with PolQ as well as the TMEJ dependent double strand break repair scar.
