The purpose of this project is to examine an administrative policy reform: Salary reforms for top executives employed by the state. The new salary system was introduced in 1991 and entailed that all state leadership positions with a salary at pay grade 38 or over were taken out of the collective wage agreement and transferred to a contractual wage system. The project will examine the implementation and effects of this reform, and is part of a larger project by LOS center, which deals with wage policies.
