Microbial data 21 stations 2012 to 2015, Barataria Bay, Louisiana

The study was to examine responses of total cultivable bacterial population, oil-degrading bacterial population, and microbial community structure and function to the various oiling intensities. This dataset contains microbial data collected from 21 permanent stations that were established in 2011 to include reference, moderately oiled, and heavily oiled sites (7 replicates each) in Barataria Bay, Louisiana. It includes cultivable bacterial populations and functional genes.
