Factor 1 in Table 3: Factor statistics, refers to the data's first shared pattern or sorting configuration, Factor 2 refers to the second shared pattern, and Factor three refers to the third such pattern. The ‘Number of defining variables’ refers to each Factor's constituent Q-sorts. Table 3 also illustrates the composite reliability factor. The eigenvalues shown in Table 3 measure the strength of the commonality within each factor. Eigenvalues help determine what factors to include in the study and which to discard.
