Data from: Environmental downgrading induces depression-like states in laying hens

This dataset contains raw data from a study investigating depression-like states in laying hens exposed to environmental downgrading (cage-free to battery cages). Data are provided in a single Excel file with three sheets: Corn (anhedonia test): sweetcorn consumption before and after transfer. TNF-α (immune marker): relative expression levels at baseline and 80 days post-transfer. Attention bias: behavioral measures during attention bias tests, including latency to eat, latency to resume eating, vocalizations, and attention to threat.Each sheet includes individual-level data (hen ID, treatment, day, and outcome measures).
