This statistic shows the online reach of the brand Amazon in the Netherlands, either through a desktop, tablet or smartphone, from July 2017 to July 2019. Reach is defined as the percentage of visitors that visited specific content at least once during a certain period. The Netherlands has two different methods to measure online reach (in Dutch: bereik) of brands: GfK DAM and the "Nederlands Online Bereiksonderzoek" or NoBO. The numbers provided here are from the latter.According to NoBO, Amazon had an online reach of 20.9 percent in the Netherlands in July 2019. This is a decrease when compared to the same period one year before. Unlike many other countries in Europe, Amazon is not active in the Netherlands. Instead, the e-commerce company uses a partially translated version of their German website to appeal to the Dutch audience. Within the Netherlands, Bol.com and Coolblue are the leading webshops, with revenues reaching respectively 2.1 billion euros and a million euros in 2018.
