A Model School had been established by the National School Board for the training of teachers. The volume in this series is the Order Book from that establishment and contains the orders of the Principal for the daily organisation of the school. It makes provision for the custody of keys, allocation of supervision duties to teachers for the yard and examinations for admission to the school, procedures for wet days and for the keeping of records. When orders were no longer applicable or had been rescinded they were crossed out.
