A retrospective analysis was conducted on the medical records of 55 GDM patients (observation group) admitted to our hospital from July 2021 to July 2023. Baseline data of the observation group were compared with those of the control group. The correlation between body composition and oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) result was analyzed. Logistic regression analysis was performed to identify independent risk factors for GDM in terms of healthy maternal body composition indicators. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was used to assess the clinical value of the independent risk factors in predicting GDM.
