LINGUOPOETIC FEATURES OF THE IMAGE OF INTELLIGENTSIA IN RUSSIAN AND UZBEK PROSE OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE WORKS OF MIKHAIL BULGAKOV AND ODIL YAKUBOV

This study examines the linguopoetic features of the image of the intelligentsia in the prose of Mikhail Bulgakov and Odil Yakubov. The research focuses on the artistic and stylistic means used by the authors to portray intellectual characters and reveal their psychological, moral, and social characteristics. Special attention is given to lexical choices, figurative language, symbolic imagery, internal monologues, and expressive stylistic devices that shape the artistic representation of the intelligentsia. The study also analyzes the similarities and differences between Russian and Uzbek literary traditions in depicting intellectual heroes. Bulgakov’s prose is characterized by satire, irony, and philosophical symbolism, while Yakubov’s works emphasize realism, psychological analysis, and national cultural values. The comparative linguopoetic analysis demonstrates that both writers present the intelligentsia as spiritually rich and morally responsible individuals who struggle against social injustice and moral decline. The findings contribute to the development of comparative linguopoetics and intercultural literary studies.
