资源简介:
Seismic data recorded at Terra Nova Bay very broad band station TNV are
currently available in binary SAC Format. The sensor is a very broad band
seismometer, whose response function is flat between 360 and 0.1 seconds.
The dynamic range spans over 140 dB, thanks to the 24 bits of the Quanterra
digitizer. The site is a cave of about 10 meters inside the granite, at a few
hundreds of meters from the Italian Base. The cave has been divided into
two rooms, in order to ensure as mach insulation as possible from the outside
temperature and pressure variations.
Although the station was installed permanently and should record continously,
for different reasons only relatively short data chunks of about 2 months per
year are available.
* In 1991 the station was operating from Feb 18th (049) to Apr 24th(114).
* In 1992 from Jan 10th (010) to Mar 16th (076).
A list of data records is on line for years 1991 and 1992. Data concerning
these two periods are now available via automatic request at FIS URL
("http://bounty.ingrm.it/data-center.html")
Technical information (response function, station location,
etc.) about the station, as well as a list of the data now released, can be
also requested via the same form.
A brief official description of TNV station is in the IRIS Station Book
as well as at FIS Web site.
