Land Use Designations (Tacoma) - Data

The Land Use Designations are the foundational policy tool under the Growth Management Act that guides future development and growth in a community. The layer represents the future land use map (FLUM), which outlines the locations and intensities of land uses, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and manufacturing and industrial centers. The FLUM is reflected in the official zoning map, the primary regulatory instrument.
