In P. tuoliensis cultivation, the mycelia must undergo a longer mycelium physiological maturation period (30-60 days) before entering the primordial differentiation stage, otherwise, the growth and development of fruiting bodies will be affected. However, the molecular processes underlying physiological maturation of the mycelium remain unclear. Therefore, we performed a comparative transcriptomic analysis on immature and mature mycelia using RNA-seq to expolore molecular mechanism of physiological maturation of mycelia in P. tuoliensis
