The purpose of an admission register was to record basic details about children admitted to the school, and about their parents or guardians. The registers were also used to record the progress of the children through various classes and the date of their leaving the school. This volume contains information pertaining to each pupil including: date of admission; pupil's name; sex; date of birth; religious denomination; name of previous school and date of leaving. The following details are recorded about the child's parents or guardians: name and residence. The pupil's date of admission to each subsequent grade, date of leaving the school, and the name of any school, college or University entered, or any occupation entered into, on leaving school are also recorded.Pupils are listed in order of admission. Entries are numbered sequentially, with the numbering beginning anew at the start of each school year.The present series is represented by a one volume, and that the last of the series. It contains ten entries, covering admissions for the years 1971, 1972 and 1973, after which the school closed. Inserted inside the back cover of this volume are the forms of Application for Admission for each of the pupils whose admission the volume records.
