Strain-Rate Data and Sediment Corrections for Ocean-Bottom DAS Back-Projection

This repository contains the necessary data to reproduce figures from the following article: Xie et al., Towards back-projection earthquake rupture imaging with ocean bottom distributed acoustic sensing. The archive includes files named raw_data_event*.mat, where * denotes the index of point sources (ranging from 1 to 16). Each file contains strain-rate recordings starting 5 minutes after the origin time. The time sampling rate is 125 Hz. The file cable_location.mat provides the geographic coordinates for all 31,000 channels. The file sediment_correction.txt lists the empirically measured delay times between the Ps and Pp phases caused by the sedimentary layer.
