The study of microbiome composition in animal model of schizophrenia. Rat animal model of schizophrenia was used to study fecal bacterial diversity in adult male rats neonatally treated by endotoxin lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The influence of antibiotic cocktail on fecal bacterial diversity was further studied. The consequences of early gut dysbiosis on adult behavior of rats were monitored.
