Alberta municipal survey of renewable energy intentions

This dataset involves a province-wide survey of municipal decision-makers to understand and conceptualize motivations, opportunities, and barriers to developing municipal renewable energy projects. The survey collected 101 complete responses from 74 municipalities, out of 338 municipalities in the province. The survey was conducted in the Fall of 2019 and received research ethics approval through the University of Alberta - “Identifying the Opportunities and Barriers to Municipal Renewable Energy Generation”, ID: Pro00086482.
