Mycobacterium tuberculosis Raw sequence reads

Whole genome sequencing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis clinical samples obtained from tuberculosis-infected patients admitted to the National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology in Almaty, Kazakhstan was performed to investigate the genetic diversity, drug resistance patterns, and transmission dynamics of circulating strains. This study aims to characterize lineage distribution, identify mutations associated with resistance to first- and second-line anti-TB drugs, and explore phylogenetic relationships between isolates. By integrating genomic and epidemiological data, we seek to improve understanding of the molecular epidemiology of TB in Kazakhstan and provide evidence to inform public health strategies for TB control in the region.
