The aim of this study is to isolate, identify and characterize the pigment-producing bacteria from the estuaries of Netravathi River, Mangaluru. The project aims to extract natural pigments from the bacteria inorder to utilize them as an alternative for the synthetic pigments, thereby ensuring the use of eco-friendly environmental technologies.
