The evolution of executive remuneration — 2019 edition

The data on remuneration are derived from the survey “Professional Status and Compensation of Executives” conducted by Apec since 2008. The purpose of this survey is to collect information on the salaries of executives employed in the private sector. Every year between 12,000 and 18,000 people respond to their professional situation, their training, their career, the position held as an executive in the private sector and the company in which they held the position. The salary questions relate to the fixed and variable part of remuneration (variable salary, variable bonuses, interest and participation), as well as benefits and in kind. The results obtained allow Apec to calculate and return gross annual wages expressed in euros.
