The standard model of particle physics has been a remarkably successful explanation of the results of particle physics experiments. Recently however, several measurements of observables have produced anomalous results which deviate away from the standard model prediction. This deviation could be a sign of beyond the standard model physics having an effect on the value of these observables. The observables studied in this thesis are the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, the R(K(*)) and R(D(*)) anomalies, and the mass of the W boson. We show the extent at which several beyond the standard model theories could explain the anomalies.
