Data for: Landscape context outweighs stand properties in shaping saproxylic beetle assemblages on clear-felled stumps

This dataset is an excel workbook 'Beetles data' with two sheets. The first sheet 'Samples' contains sample specific data such as stump id, Site code, height, weight, tree species etc. The second sheet 'Species' includes all species of saproxylic beetles found at the studied sites. The species are in rows and Individual stump/sample numbers matching the lop_nummer in 'Samples' is in the columns. This dataset is from five pairs of sites (1 spruce monoculture site and 1 more varied site) in Sweden. The study sampled saproxlic beetles on spruce stumps.
