This series contains minutes and papers of the Centre for Legal Education Board of Management/Centre for Legal Education Advisory Board.The Centre for Legal Education was established in 1992 as a project of the Law Foundation, without any other corporate existence. It was run by a Board of Management that included two Law Foundation Board members (Terry Purcell and Mark Richardson) and a staff member (Dawn Wong). Terry Purcell wrote to the Centre for Legal Education and requested regular reports of its activities to the Law Foundation. At the Centre for Legal Education Board meeting of 13/2/95, agenda item 5 addressed the request.In 1996 the Centre for Legal Education management was changed to an Advisory Board under the Law Foundation and reporting relationships were specified. In 2000 the Centre for Legal Education became a centre at the University of Newcastle.
