Datasets to accompany the manuscript "Microstructural Analyses of a Giant Quartz Reef in South China reveal Episodic Brittle-Ductile Fluid Transfer", which includes all sample coordinates; whole thin-section micrographs from each of the core sections taken though the quartz reef (number indicated depth in m); grain size analysis performed using ImageJ across the key structural facies of the fault zone; microprobe analysis on the chlorite and mica.
