We performed single-nucleus RNA-seq on subcutaneous adipose tissue biopsies of 68 participants from the Roux-en-Y versus one-anastomosis gastric bypass (RYSA) cohort. Frozen subcutaneous adipose tissue biopsies from 68 donors were combined into batches with a pool of 8 samples per batch. We randomly assigned samples to batches multiple times and selected the set that results in a minimal correlation between batches and phenotypic traits. Nuclei were then isolated from each batch and single nucleus sequencing libraries were constructed using the Chromium Single Cell 3’ v3.1 chemistry. We sequenced all libraries together on an Illumina NovaSeq S4 with a target sequencing depth of 400 million read pairs per pool. *************************************************************** Submitter states that missing raw files are due to patient privacy concerns. ***************************************************************
