REACHES

This database reflects an ongoing project of constructing an East Asian climate database REACHES based on Chinese historical documents. The main record source is Compendium of Meteorological Records of China in the Last 3000 Years which collects meteorology and climate related records from mainly official and local chronicles along with a small number of other documents. The first entries are the records of the early half of the last Qing dynasty (1644-1975). More data will be uploaded while records are properly digitized.

本数据库为基于中国历史文献构建东亚气候数据库REACHES的持续建设项目的组成部分。其主要数据来源为《中国近三千年气象记录总集》（Compendium of Meteorological Records of China in the Last 3000 Years），该总集主要收录来自官修史籍、地方志及少量其他文献的气象与气候相关记录。首批收录的条目为清朝（1644-1975）前半叶的相关记录。后续将在完成记录的规范化数字化整理后，陆续上传更多数据。
