Streptococcus uberis strains : South African dairy herd

A retrospective, longitudinal study performed on Streptococcus uberis isolated from milk samples from a large commercial dairy herd in South Africa. Streptococcus uberis isolated from milk samples of dairy cows (Jersey breed), with clinical and sub-clinical mastitis, were identified by MLST (7 gene) sequencing. All of the 70 isolates (63 from 2021 and 7 form 2024), were novel sequence types and were registered on the pubMLST database as part of the Streptococcus uberis isolate collection.This link takes you to the query page, you will see “Search or browse data database” and below that “isolate provenance/primary metadata fields.” In the first field, click on the arrow for more options and choose country; for the next field click on the arrow for more options and choose; contains.
