This dataset pertains to the paper entitled "In - situ Individual Particle Observations Revealing the Enhanced Photolysis of Nitrate Associated with Soot - containing Particles in the Atmosphere". The field observation dataset encompasses the hourly mean relative peak areas and number fractions of diverse species (such as nitrate, sulfate, nitrate/sulfate, and soot) in soot-containing and soot-free particles, as well as meteorological parameters. Additionally, it includes the size distribution and mass spectral information for soot-containing and soot-free particles. The laboratory simulation dataset primarily consists of the nitrite concentration data during the simulated nitrate photolysis. It also contains the test data for the irradiance wavelength and 2-Nitrobenzaldehyde (2NB), which was utilized as a chemical actinometer to determine the photolysis rate constant under each condition.
