The Organization Survey - Elected trustees (who are not working full-time), 1975

This data file contains data from a survey that was sent out as part of the work on "Maktutredningen" which culminated in the public inquiry, NOU1982:3, in 1982. More specifically, this is data from the part of the organizational survey where elected trustees in central boards or corresponding bodies were interviewed. In 1976, a questionnaire was sent out to 114 organizations in the working and business world. In the organizations that were selected, there were 670 trustees who were sent a questionnaire. 475 of these responded to the survey. This gives a response rate of 71%. The survey was carried out to shed light on the relationship between organizational society and public policy. Data supports the claim that organizations in the labor and business world have power in Norway.
