ddRAD sequencing Primula palinuri

The present work focuses on Primula palinuri (Primulaceae), one of the 29 species included in LIFE SEEDFORCE. The LIFE SEEDFORCE project aims to assess the intra and inter population genetic diversity of endangered plan species to optimize translocation protocols in designated areas. In the present study we used a cost-effective genome-wide genotyping approach which involves the double digestion of DNA with restriction enzymes (ddRADseq) to identify the donor populations better suited for the translocation tasks foreseen in SEEDFORCE.
