Sea cucumber intestine microbiome Raw sequence reads

This project involves the raw sequence data of the microbiome from the intestine of sea cucumbers (Stichopus japonicus), collected from aquaculture farms in China. The samples were processed using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing to identify and characterize the microbial communities present in the gut. The primary objective of this study is to understand the diversity and functional potential of the microbiome in sea cucumbers, which may provide insights into their health, growth, and disease resistance mechanisms.
