BM culture comprises of various cell types including dendritic cells and macrophage-like cells. To understand the biology of BM-derived DCs, CD11c+MHCII+ cell subsets from BM cultures with FLT3L or GM-CSF were analyzed and are shown to have distinct transcriptional profiles. Overall design: This study includes data from various DC subsets and macrophages purified by flow cytometry sorting from BM culture with GM-CSF or FLT3L of WT C57BL/6 mice. At least two independent replicates were made for each cell type. Global mRNA expression profiles of the MHCII+ cell subsets from BM culture were done by Illumina Hi-seq 2500.
